already?!?

posted in Uncategorized |

I just checked my phone for the first time today.

The University of Minnesota wants to interview me. On Oct. 21.

I was told it would take 3 weeks to process my application. I haven’t even sent in my Internal Med one because I was counting on having more time.

I’m freaking out. I’m not ready. That’s um, next week, people. Next freaking week.

Thanks for reminding me that this is GOOD news that somebody wants to interview me!

I am excited. It just took me a few minutes to remember that in the frantic stressing of finishing this other application. πŸ™‚

      Thanks!

I did apply to the UCLA program–but I’m really not sure if I want to go there. It would at five different hospitals–and I’d have to fight traffic all day long. But if I do hear about Stanford, I’ll let you know, maybe you could fly/drive up or something. πŸ™‚

So, um, when I’m there, do you want to meet? I mean, I know I’m no Karl, but we might be able to tolerate each other’s presence for a few hours.

I won’t be doing the interview on the 21st, because I’ll finishing up my rotation. But um, after?
