Question for (classic) Doctor Who fans
posted in Uncategorized |
A quick internet search didn’t reveal any answers, so I come to you.
Did the Doctor ever have any older companions? And what’s the longest, canonily, that a companion was with the Doctor?
Thanks. 🙂

When it doubt, check Wikipedia:

There’s plenty of detail in that article I think :)!
Bah, copy and paste the entire address, for some reason it didn’t grab the end parenthesis in the link.
Er, older companions – am doing a foray into Classic Doctor who currently with a friend – older than the Doctor? Or…older than Rose and Martha and Donna? (Quite a few were that…although, by how much do you mean?) 🙂
The longest running companion is the Brigadier, insofar as he counts…but who besides that…I’m not positive, I think Sarah Jane Smith. Or maybe Tegan. (I’m hoping not Tegan; I don’t like Tegan all that much.) Who – and this is just from memory – was around for…actually, I don’t recall. I don’t think any companion could’ve been around more than four years, season-wise, and that might be overshooting it a bit (not for the Brigadier, of course). I will get back to you on this, if you don’t find the answer first!
Or Wiki is > all; true that! lol.
