Annals of Medicine – The Itch (warning, cut your nails before reading; you don’t want to cause yourself harm)
It is just not fair that a surgeon can write this well about non-surgical stuff. It especially burns when it’s about neurology. 😛 I’m just a wee bit jealous.
He’s supposed to speak at the Neurosurgery convention in Chicago sometime this year. I’m so tempted to crash the party.

That article is so wild! I saw an excerpt from it earlier today, not realizing it was from a much longer work. Reading the whole thing…wow. Thanks for linking.
He is such an amazing writer, because he takes this issues (like itching or chronic nausea) and really explores all of the little details.

I am book-marking to read later. I think I inherited his longer non-fiction book. It’s somewhere in the house.
You should pick it up and read it. 🙂 I adore his writing.
